The demographics of NOVA has changed drastically, has anyone noticed? (Annandale: income, to live in)

Has anyone else noticed that the area is now mostly minority and immigrants. I am sure if someone who use to live in Northern Virginia visited today, they would be shocked. Here are the stats:

My guess is that income and education levels have also increased dramatically since 1950.
And there is no question that the restaurant selection has greatly improved.

You forget that white in the census includes people who are immigrants from places like Chile, Argentina, Iran, Iraq and other Arab States. These people are culturally different than the white people in live in most of America. Nice people, but different.

I never said that this was a bad thing, just that it is so different. Stop putting words in my mouth.

Good, a little diversity doesn't hurt anyone. I hope you aren't one of those types that likes to blame all of societies problems on immigrants and black people.

I do not think there is a little diversity in the DC area, there is alot of it!

The new Asian and middle eastern population has brought lots of great ideas and prosperity to the area.

I've lived in Annandale since birth (1951) and ethnicities aside, there's just way, way, way too many people here now.

When I was a kid, I used to sight in my rifle out my bedroom window...that would would get you a visit from the S.W.A.T. team now!
