Can anyone recommend a yoga studio in NoVA, preferably in Alexandria, Arlington, or Falls Church? I'm looking for an actual studio that focuses on yoga, not a gym that offers a few mediocre yoga classes. I would also like a studio that offers a monthly membership. Taking three classes a week at $15-$20 a pop really adds up, but I'd totally spend up to $200 a month for an all-you-can-om setup. Either very early (before 6am) or late (after 8 or 9pm) classes are another plus.

I know this isn't super helpful but I've found several different yoga studios in Old Town Alexandria. I haven't been to any yet so I can't provide details but I do know that yoga in general is more expensive here than other places so that's something to keep in mind.

I haven't been there myself, but I understand Sun and Moon Yoga in N. Arlington is good.

I used to go to Sun and Moon in Cherrydale, but they don't have a monthly membership as far as I know.

I love my yoga studio in Arlington - very nice and professional teachers, very pleasant atmosphere. They have several locations:
Unity Woods - Yoga Class Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia

Default Excellent studio in Falls Church

Hey there, while reading your post I thought I should clue you into the Bikram Yoga of Falls Church. They have a monthly unlimited pass (very reasonably priced) and classes at all times of the day and night.
I frequent it myself and have found people very welcoming and the instructors to be very knowledgeable. I know sometimes people are wary of "hot yoga" or the Bikram, but I would definitely give this place a shot. They are quite nice. The combination of price, convenience and spirit make this one of my favorite places to practice yoga in all of DC.

Happywoman's reccommendation: Unity Woods -- I have heard very good things about that one.

Anyone familiar with Pure Prana in Old Town? I won't get a chance to check them out until after the holidays, but it looks like they offer a monthly membership for $130. That pays for itself if I go just twice a week, which means even if I can't make it after work every day (the evening classes are pretty early), I get my money's worth on the weekends and maybe one evening a week.

My daughter, who is a student GMU, goes to Bikram Yoga in Falls Church also and likes it very much. She gets a real work out and feels great afterwards!
