Hello,

I am searching for a buyers agent to represent me in North Arlington, North of 66, within about 2 miles of Marymount University. Does anyone know what resources are available on the internet to help me narrow down the options to a few agents that I could then personally interview? I want someone that really knows the immediate area and the prices and who can help me make a purchase if I am not in the area. Thanks.

Go to Home Buyer’s Agent | Exclusive Buyers Agent | Real Estate Buyer’s Agent | Buyer Focused Real Estate | National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents, the members only represent buyers and are affiliated with brokerages that do not take listings. They have a form for you to fill out and they will send you agents that specialize in specific areas and towns. You should be able to then check out each agent's website and interview the ones you feel you would be comfortable with. Or you could contact the brokerages in the area and ask for an agent who is an Accredited Buyer Representative, they will have special training and have passed an exam to test their knowledge of buyer agency.

We are using Frankly Realty and have been very happy with our agent as well as Frank himself. I really like their philosophy--esp. since we have been buying from outside the area, we need total honesty. Our agent is absolutely out for our best interest. Can't say enough good things about this company. The company based in Arlington, I am almost certain.

We recently purchased with Howard Thorkilson www.arlingtonheritage.com . He has lived in Arlington for decades (retired military) and just helped us purchase in this area while we were still living in Seattle. We had a few last minute snafus with the mortgage & closing and he handled all of them smoothly personally. He is probably the best agent we have ever had and he is our 6th in 11 years.
