All of the preschools in the Vienna area fall in that price-range, except for a few. My kids have been in three different preschols, and all were under $300 for 3 days per week. There were a few expensive ones, but they were not the norm.

Default NOVA Preschool Help!

HELP!! I currently live in LA and are relocating to Fairfax this summer. I am looking to place my soon to be 5 yr old in a pre-k program in the fall. My current front runners are Stepping Stone Preschool (Rugby Rd), Fairfax Presbyterian Preschool (Main St.), and Christ Presbyterian Preschool (Lee Jackson HWY). Does anyone have any experience and/or thoughts on these schools? I am working on this long distance and would greatly appreciate any thoughts or comments.

I think the program is only free if you meet certain income requirements. I've been trying to access the Arlington public school website but having difficulty right now.

ETA: Here is the fee sliding scale for the 2010-2011 school year
http://www.apsva.us/cms/lib2/VA01000...02010-2011.pdf

depending on income, parents could be paying more than $8,000/year
