Hi everyone

I'm relatively new to VA and trying to find a place to settle in somewhere in the Arlington area. I found what looks like a nice place in Westover Village, on Kensington Street, but I wanted to ask for the experiences of anyone who has lived there. Safe during the day? Safe at night? Any significant crimes? Reputation? etc. Thanks so much!

Westover Village is full of families and safe at any time. The new community library there will open in October, and there is a post office, popular cafes, shops, parks, bike trails, convenient to metrobus, etc.

I live on Kensington St!! I am up closer to Lee Hwy than down near Westover...but I LOVE it! Lot's of famililes, the restaurants in the Village are yummy. Very Neighborly.
It is just me and my 16 year old daughter, so we are not a typical family...I like to have fun when she goes to her dad's, and when she is not here I do not feel like I cant play loud music or anything.
(Not sure your age/family status?
Good luck!

Did you move to Westover Village? I'm looking at a place on the same street, and wanted to see what you thought of the place and area. Thanks!
