We recently moved to 22152 area with our two kids, 11 and 13 year old. Can anyone suggest a reputable family physician, and a dentist please?

If you are aware of a website or other sources where we can find feedback and ratings on local physicians and dentists, would be appreciated as well.

Thank you in advance.

Virginia Pediatric and Adolescent Center

It's a practice of about 8-10 doctors. We've met most of them and I'd say out of the7 we've met, 5 have blown us away by how good they seem. There's nothing wrong with the others, we just didn't click personally. The practice came highly recommended by some friends and we have no problems recommending them to anybody.

I would recommend checking with your insurance company and find a list of Dr's that accept your insurance. Some places won't make you an appt even if you want to handle the insurance on your own.

That's my area! Welcome! I ADORE Dr. David Lindsey (DDS) on Traford Lane (behind the Giant by Cardinal Forest). His staff is great and they have TVs in each exam room with a headset. Perfect for kids and adults who hate the dentist.

Never a bad experience there.

As for family physician, good luck. I have finally 'settled' for General Internal Medicine Group in Fairfax/Arlington. Mostly because of the Saturday AM appointments.

Dr John Demorro in springfield is a great dentist. He's off of backlick road across from saratoga. He's very conservative in his approach, won't drill unless he has to, and if he thinks that it needs a specialist, he sends you to one.
I went to him as a kid growing up in springfield, moved out to PW county and Loudoun county, have gone through 4 other dentists in the past 12 years, and started going back to him two years ago. I have several crowns that are quite functional, but are not "pretty", and every other dentist I've been to has pushed to have them replaced to "fix my smile." I asked Dr. Demorro about them, he said that they're fine, and as long as I was happy with them, they should stay.
