I'd love to have those emails, I need to do that myself. Experienced 34 days without internet and phone because they couldn't get a tech who was capable of fixing the phone lines crossing. And they still billed me. My neighbors had the same problem. Do you think they use GIS technology to realize they had numerous service tickets in the same area? Nope.

This doesn't answer the OP's question but we recently switched from Cox allegedly-high-speed to Verizon FIOS. Actually getting it switched over was a huge pain but once that was complete, Verizon is infinitely better than Cox. It's fast. Cox was unbelievably slow.

I'd recommend FIOS, people may get mixed up with dsl because before verizon's fios service was rolled out , dsl was the option from them, now its usually fios.

Comcast has had many problems and issues, a history of greed, irresponsible cust service, throughout and download issues as well as fasley advertising their service as unlimited

This is not to say that fios gives a blessing in cloud 9, sure verizon does a lot of anti-consumer behavior, but its a relief to choose verizon over comcast for many users, in fact comcasts own network can't compete.
