We are moving to the South Riding area and after calling and researching our options for cable, internet and phone, it seems our only option is comcast. There is no FiOS where we are. Otherwise, it's one company for cable, another for internet and another for phone... of two for one and one for another...blah blah... you get my drift...

Here's 3 more Internet alternatives. DSL, Internet via DirecTV Satellite (HughesNet), and a cellular wifi-card though your laptop from the cell phone companies. I don't see a reason for FiOS because Comcast will provide you with the same download speeds as FiOS , and the same Tv programming. Comcast and FiOS are neck and neck.
