Hello,

Can anyone tell me where I can find a map of the Urban Villages of Arlington. I am trying to locate a nice townhouse, single family home, or duplex to rent within the Rosslyn, Court House, Clarendon, or Virginia Square area but I am not sure which addresses are where. Also can anyone give me more info about Virignia Square. I hear that it is nice and quiet, the area doesn't have all of the stores and nightlife that the rest of the villages do. Is that true, also is it a safe area?

Mapquest, Google, Yahoo...they all have detailed maps of the area available. Wilson Boulevard is the main road through the region. The primary zip codes are 22201 and 22203...

While it's true VA Square is currently the least developed stop along the Orange Line (Ballston Corridor), they are building there too. It sits in between Ballston and Clarendon, both of which are very active day and night, it's only a matter of time before VA Square gets the same way. It's also not necessarily any cheaper than the other areas. VA Square is very safe. I have two single female friends who have lived in an apartment complex there for 10 years now and they haven't had any problems (both live alone too). I also sometimes walk from Clarendon to Ballston (through VA Square) late at night when I miss the last train (heh) and haven't had any troubles.

As far as maps go, like m_cummins said, there are plenty out there on the usual sites, but I also used the Stationmaster's Metrorail Maps to get an idea of what was close to the Metro when I was looking to buy.
