The Washington Redskins hired Bruce Allen as their new general manager today. So... what do you think? Good move, or bad move?

Son of George Allen, worked with a great head coach like John Gruden, seems like a very calm/collective person, and has a chance to evaluate the players and coaches before the offseason. I like it.

Vinny got some pretty good talent (Fred Davis, Devin Thomas, Chris Horton, and Orakpo) and some serviceable players for nothing (Ganther and Mike Williams). But even still, he couldn't build a team. He neglected the offensive and (before this year) the defensive line. Our offensive line's backups were horrible. Which is probably what led to the demise of the team. How many draft picks did we have for an average? What has he done for us in his tenure as a Redskin?

Funny how I can never guess which threads in city-data are going to be popular. Guaging by all the excitement the newscasters had about this announcement I thought this one was going to have 6-7 pages of responses by this morning. LOL, guess it's true, Virginia's not all that sports crazy. Not like Nebraska or Pittsburgh.
