Sick of Popeye's, Safeway, Roy Rogers, and KFC as the only fried chicken choices in NoVA. Do I have any other options in NoVA? Preferably close to West End Alexandria.

I'd look for a restaurant that serves up Southern food. You might try Southside 815 in Old Town.

If you remember how to get to your old employer near Route 1/Richmond Highway, there are at least a couple Peruvian/Salvadoran chicken restaurants in the vicinity of the Safeway.

It's a chain, but it's Korean style fried chicken: Bon Chon Chicken, in a little strip mall next to Campbell & Ferrara Nursery (just west of the Home Depot) on Little River Turnpike. It's not fast food, though. It's cooked to order, so about 20-30 minutes to get your food after ordering; you can call ahead, though.

CaseyMac, terrance81, weezycom, thanks for the suggestions.

Tone509, I did try some Salvardoran/Peruvian chicken from that area. Wasn't that impressed. Thanks, anyway.
