What is the SUI for VA? I realize it ranges from 0.1% to 6.2% but what does this range depend upon? I am an IT contractor planning to work in Northern VA. Also, is this a percentage of $8K or the total salary or a different number?

Basically, I am trying to identify how much more to charge per hour going from a W2 (no benefits or vacation or health insurance or holidays) to Corp-to-Corp. Is 10% a good number? Thanks.

The new employer rate is 2.60%, after a business has "experience", that rate may go up or down. THe 2.6% is taxed on the first 8,000 earned in a calendar year.
