Anyone know of any decent Army civilian jobs? my husband was in the Army about 7 years ago and would like to do some civilian work for them. he was an MP but would like to not be a cop out on the NoVA/DC streets. He also does not have a current clearance but did have a TS. Thoughts?

Check out the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. They have a pretty large police force (and he would not have to be out on the streets of DC or NOVA). For civilian positions, I think the Army advertises on usajobs.com.

check usajobs.gov The Dept of Army lists their vacancies mainly on that website.

if he had a TS before, I would advise him to check out all of the DoD jobs on usajobs.gov and go to some of those recruiting events in the DC metro area that target former military personnel (e.g. Corporate Gray, etc.) Google Corporate Gray for more details.

Also try: government jobs, federal jobs, state jobs, contractor jobs

And as previously suggested above, talk to recruiters, go to the job fairs specifically for DOD civilians, and ASK any neighbor, co-worker, friend or family member for leads. Good luck!
