meeting people in Honolulu (living in, swimming, activities)

Hello everyone,

I don't know if the purpose of this post is correct for this forum, but I think that yes . Due to laboral reason and my desition, I'm going to live in Honolulu for a long while. Let me please to introduce myself (this remembers me a famous Rolling Stone song!). My name is Adal. I would like to meet people from Hawaii (particularly from Oahu, and more particularly from Honolulu and around because it's where I'm living right now). I'm from Spain and I would like to have a great time here in Oahu living an awesome "hawaian" life. I am open to suggestions and tips to know this amazing island, and people who want to meet me to go out, to have some beers and to teach me different aspects about life here (really I want to learn). During next month I will be living in Manoa (15 min from the central campus and 30 min from Manoa Falls -nice trial!- on foot), then I will return to Spain for a couple of months and I will come back here for 2 years in January. During this time, I hope to visit the rest of the islands.

I hope finding here nice people and enjoying with their my stay in this island.

Definitely seek out people at activities that you enjoy; surfing, Church, hiking, swimming etc. There are so many lovely people here that are looking for friends too.

I think that with your positive attitude you will have no problems finding friends. Terrific outlook!
