Hi Everybody
Well I'm coming to Oahu from Santa Cruz to check out a job site. I have the job I just have to say yes really. My friends think I'm crazy for not jumping on this job. My apprehension has been I don't believe the local economy will be any better than it is here in SC. At least it is a real job in my field. The job is in downtown Honolulu.
Well anyway here's my plan for my trip over. Fly in on 10/30/11 see the job site and tell my new boss, "Ya man I'm in I'll sell it all in Santa Cruz and move over". Then I'm walking out of the job site and I'm taking "TheBus", walk, cab or whatever and run a round the island a couple days to check it out and then move to Oahu I guess. Hahahaha! Ya I'm nuts. I think it will be great!
Why leave the main land and come to Oahu? Man........ I just wanna slow down. I'm tired of rushing and being rushed. I'm in no hurry to do anything at all really. I'm told island life is "kick back". Well that's me I guess. I wanna kick back. ..... Retired motorcycle racer just lookin to moto, surf and check out the local motocross track, ride my sportbike and meet some cool local motocross people.
Hopefully the company will ship both my YZ250F and My Triumph Daytona over. That could be a deal breaker! hahahaha
Im from SC too! Your gonna love Oahu its just like home. I love it. Im moving next summer and I can't wait. I'm jealous your move in date is so soon.

I'm living in Felton up in the SC mountains. I'm stoked to be going to Oahu. I lucked out with the job if it's everything I have been told. I just have to come see it on paper to move forward though.
Truthfully I'm ready to go. California is getting way goofy!
Ya Im from the upperwest. I'm in love with Oahu everything is great there the people and the culture, I love it. The only thing that shocked me over there was that the have more homeless people than we do on pacific avenue. What job field are you in?
