Job Opportunities in Honolulu (2014, insurance, university)

My daughter lives in Honolulu and has been working for an insurance company. Her major is in Business with a concentration in Human Resources. She would like to get into a human resource department even at the entry level just to get into her field. Are there any new companies or areas that she might check into for job opportunities? Some of the job sites have not been very helpful. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Competing with the Univeristy of Hawaii graduates and Hawaii Pacific University graduates will be very tricky.

The Queens Medical Center is in the process of preparing to open their medical center in West Oahu. They're holding a job fair for all sorts of positions. If nothing else, Queens is one of the most stable employers on the island.
There are openings in many areas and they are not only in West, which would be a haul for your daughter. As WV said, competition will be steep (but then again, she already knows this, I would think).
