It was okay for a while, but after my last trip there I won't go back for dinner or cocktails. If I'm in the area I'll shop in the produce markets... maybe.

You can relax that was in 2008-2010 the city went to work after killing the rats. But Hawaii is no stranger to rats.
A bigger problem is feral cats. Ever notice after a flash flood all you have to do is look to higher dryer land like a hill in a flooded field and you will see like fifty cats all huddled together on top of the dry hill. To bad no one filmed that yet its a sight in Honolulu.
And if you read the historical part of the chinatown videos, you would have learned that the city burned down chinatown in the past in trying to get rid of rat
