Hi,
We are moving to Honolulu by next month. I am looking for a temporary place to stay in order for us to get
situated. A small private area, i'm thinking of a price range from 300-350 per week. Maybe we could stay there of a couple of weeks. Hopefully near to the downtown or bus stations. I tried looking to Craigslist and Zillow but what they offer are room rentals for our budget. Help!

The YMCA used to be an option - but they closed for renovation and they will not have rooms for rent when they reopen.

I'd look into hostels or airbnb, your budget is to low for a vacation rental or even the cheapest hotels.

Search the Hawaiian Monarch on Craigslist. Also Waikiki Banyan.

Both places i mentioned do short term rentals in about their price range. My example was a long term ad but still representative of what is available. That's why i said to do the search.

Thank you to both of you. It looks like we will save more if will look for a place to stay for a month.
I checked the airbnb but still a little pricey for our budget. It looks Hostel don't offer a private place for a couple.
Our going in Honolulu is not a vacation. We will look for a place to stay for good ones we get there so we could actually visit the place/house.
