Housing and utilities (comparable to Oahu) are 1/3 the cost in LV. That is the only reason why they are there.
That and they want to live as far away from the elitists as possible.

I'll excuse your lack of geographical knowledge, but just this one time. There's a whole lot more "far away" on the other side of LV, even if you stop at the Mississippi River.
I appreciate what your saying even if I don't agree with it. The "might is right" ideal often serves a fickle master. When someone has more "might" and exercises his "right" this ideal often gets set aside.
Hawaii and some of her past can be a benefit to people today.
I don't think anyone is referring to the use of force, unless you refer to the competative spirit.
I agree, and much of it has been adopted on the mainland, and proudly so.

I kinda understand what HbH is saying. Your missing the mark on alot of what he says. Take a look at the actions of people who think like you as a group on an island 44 miles (71 km) long and 30 miles (48 km) across. You come across like the "holy rollers" who say jesus is the only way. Oahu is very much an example of this. Issues like traffic on Oahu are not issues because we lack "HART rail" or anything. Its only an issue because we live on an island. Facts your group ignores. Instead of accepting it, you blame everything else.
