Were there more fireworks here than you were used to?

Happy New Year! Hopefully, anyway.

This upcoming year in Chinese calculations is a Red Fire Chicken year. It's not a Rooster, though, it's a Hen. So the upcoming year is a Chicken Little year, wasn't she a little red hen? Hmm, maybe the Little Red Hen was the one who made cake and didn't share it with the folks who didn't help? Guess I need to check up on kid tales.

Last year, according to Chinese calendar keepers, was a Red Fire Monkey year. Don'tcha think Flaming Monkeys kinda described the year? We still have a couple of weeks of Flaming Monkeys since Chinese New Year is around the end of January this year, I think. There's always Google if you need specific dates.

Definitely more than Atlanta, or Miami.

and yea man Chinese calendar keepers knew everything. it's a cycle.
