Just signed a lease for a 3 BR townhome in Ocean Pointe, in hopes I can find 2 housemates. Landlord approved it. Now posted rooms on CL for comparable rates - actually about 50-100 cheaper to comps, barely getting any inquiries. Is April a slow time of year or will this always be an uphill battle to find housemates here?

There are a lot of ads for shared housing in Ewa. Some as low as $500/month. It's not a very desirable area and for many the traffic is a deal breaker

Yeah would never set foot in Ewa unless I worked remotely and didn't mind jet engine noise.

Are there any physical bulletin boards to post on in the neighborhood? Then you'd be advertising to folks already in the area.

You only here airplanes if the house is open. My AC is almost always on, don't hear a thing.

I love hearing the fighter planes - there is just something about that sound.

Your AC is louder than a jet? Might want to look at other AC.
