Fishing in Honolulu

anyone on here use a hawaiian sling?? am interested in getting into it when i move there......love to free dive,,,and would love to get into using hawaiian sling/spearfishing.....any tips on good areas around Oahu for this?

So hows your luck been. The thread is old and I wonder if you have had some expereince in fishing. Let me know I am moving there in October and had to sell all my stuff. Any tips on the best deals on rods and reals?
