Reputable website for finding places to live on Oahu? (sale, apartment)

Aloha!

I've recently decided to make a change in my life and move to a new town for only about 6 months to one year. I've visited Hawaii twice now and I'm absolutely in love with it.

I'd like to start trying to find a place to live on Oahu, but every website that I come around seems seedy and/or they want me to register and pay for their services.

Is there a website that is free of charge and reputable that I can use to find a place to live on Oahu? I'm looking to rent an apartment or small home and I'd like to be in a safe quiet neighborhood. Doesn't really matter if it's located by the beach or not.

try looking at www.audreyhutton.com Also, look at www.oahure.com you can pick a neighborhood and see what inventory is on sale and what has sold in the area and for how much.

Wherever you look for housing, I would caution you not to send money or sign anything without looking first, or without having someone you trust look for you.
