Looks like there's plenty of voting, but not much talking.

I have lived in suburbs Toledo and Cleveland and don't like those cities, have relatives in Cinn. and don't like that one, but I do have fond memories of Columbus back in college days...YAY, High Street!

Akron is looking really good these days. In the late nineties, Dayton looked pretty bad. Toledo is not looking as good these days as it was in the late nineties, but Youngstown is looking better. Nearby Warren, Ohio, though, is really deteriorating these days.

Columbus is the best in my opinion because of the University, great downtown and arena district, ample opportunities for urban living, and its growing economy, BUT Cleveland has much better professional sports and better public transportation.

Cincinnati has the character portion wrapped up completely. Columbus only has a handful of central urban/near-suburban neighborhoods that separate it from anytown-usa.

Columbus worth mentioning:
Short North/Arena District
Upper Arlington
Clintonvile
Grandview
German Village/Marion Village
Bexley
Olde Towne East

Cincinnati/NKY worth mentioning:
Mt. Adams
Hyde Park
Mariemont
Oakley
Clifton
Northside
Columbia Tusculum
Mt. Lookout
Wyoming
Over The Rhine
Prospect Hill
CBD/Riverfront
Newport/levee
Mainstrasse
Price Hill/Incline

I know next to nothing about Cleveland aside from Coventry.

Cleveland and Cincinnati are comparable in the character category. They pretty much blow every other city in Ohio away.

I agree. Columbus just feels like a giant suburb and as much as I like Toledo and Youngstown, both have seen better days.
