I made the move to Mason this past weekend and i am very impressed with not only my new home, but the city of Mason and the county of Warren. My neighbors are very friendly. We have an older couple next to us, and a family of five from Indiana. We drove around and i didnt realize exactly how fast Mason has been growing. But, what i like is that they are not growing out of control with sprawl spreading everywhere. We went to many towns across Warren County. Lebanon, Springboro, etc, etc. They all impressed us. I really like to see how fast it is growing down here, but they can keep the growth under control.

The park systems are awesome down here. There are so many recreational areas you can go to. They have parks with walking and biking trails through acres of woods. Cincinnati is about a 45 minutes commute. My downtown office is very nice. Its a newly built highrise. I looked at some of the plans that i will be working on in the months to come. We have some major developments going on around Cincinnati's riverfront. What i really like is that the development is not just centered around the city's downtown. Its spreading out along the river. Im very pleased with all this new development going on, and the people i work with are great.

Overall im very impressed with the area. The people are very friendly, its growing fast, but it still has that small town feel to it. I will miss having the lake just a few miles away, but the river is very nice also. Mason and Warren County are incredible areas to consider a move to. Im glad we chose it here.

I love Mason. Loved it when I WORKED there. LOL. Now I have a 33 mile drive to Kettering, but it's worth it when I get home. And I don't leave work until 10pm so traffic isn't a big problem. Just the fact that the 'ol eyesight seems to be going.

Welcome to Mason! It is definately a great place to live! I just bought my house here in February & love it, coming from West Chester! You'll find a lot of things to do all over the Cincinnati, Dayton area! Hugs!

^I love Mason. It is such a great town. I just saw you post and i read that you are also from Mason. Great to meet someone else from the area. And welcome to the forum. I hope you are a regular poster. It would be nice to have someone else on here from around the same area. And yes, there is a lot going on here in the Cincinnati and Dayton metros.
