Hi everyone,

Just discovered this discussion. You all sound like you really care about Ohio! I thought you might be interested in an organization that is working to gather public input on issues affecting NE Ohio. It's called Voices & Choices. They have a website to gather input, and they put on Public Town Meetings. The next one is Sept 16 at The University of Akron.

Here's the short blurb from their website:
"Through a series of town meetings and public forums across the region, thousands of people will come together to decide what we must do to revitalize the economy. They will wrestle with tough choices, make decisions, and commit to becoming part of the solution.

Voices & Choices is a project of the Fund for Our Economic Future and is being directed by AmericaSpeaks in partnership with the Universities Collaborative."

http://www.voiceschoices.org/

I'm not affiliated with Voices & Choices accept as a public participant, and I've been impressed with the people that worked with us at a meeting I attended, and the thoughts of those citizens who were there as well.
Cheers!

i urge all to attend and voice the gov't big brother cash cow aka traffic cameras!
these take away all rights of facing your accuser, what if you loaned your car to someone? what if it was stolen....no child has been injured while in a school zone in akron ohio that i know of in 40 years! but since they can make money under the guise of "but its for the children"
just wait for red light cameras next and when you stop and make a right on red....yep you got to pay!....big brother is knocking on your door as we speak!!!!
