My family will immigrate to Lebanon, Ohio soon and we need your advice to me us more convenient to adopt new life.

We have two sons and the older one will attend regional campus of Miami University in Hamilton or Middletown. The other one will join University of Cincinnati(UC). Thus, could you please let me know if there are any public transportation between UC, Lebanon and Hamilton or between UC, Lebanon and Middletown.?

Unfortunately, I do not believe there is any public transportation whatsoever in or from Lebanon.

I also don't think there is any public transportation in Middletown. Not sure how far Cincinatti transit goes up, but I don't think it's that far.

There's a Metro bus route that goes to Fairfield and gets close to the Hamilton border, but I'd imagine it probably only runs twice a day for morning and evening rush. The city of Cincinnati funds Metro, so outside the city you are mostly SOL. Especially outside Hamilton County. The only buses I know that go to Butler or Warren only run twice a day, for 9-5 commuters.

Perhaps somewhat off-topic here, but an unfortunate reality of small-town American life is the almost complete dependency on private cars for transportation. This isn't a failing of this or that town in particular, but just a reality of American life. Land is vast, population density low, an "individualist" spirit strong, and the result is that inter-town trains have become a relic of the mid-20th century.

There is a within Middletown bus system, but nothing that connects it to Lebanon. There are occasionally private bus companies that do have bus lines from Cincinnati thru Hamilton to Middletown, but I'm not sure if any currently operate at this time. As far as I know, the only thing resembling mass transit in Lebanon is a tourist train that goes back and forth to Mason a few times a day.

Apparently, there is something that connects Lebanon to Middletown if you have a lot of time to make the trip.
