Looks like Issue 3 is going down in flames. And Issue 2 is up by a decent margin.

Bummer, but hopefully Legalize Ohio's pot issue will be on the ballot next year and pass. The fact that it will be a presidential/senate/etc. election year should help too.

Issue 1 is passing by a large margin. Hopefully this is a sign gerrymandering will soon be dead in this state.

53% reporting

Issue 2 53% yes, 47% No

Issue 3 35% Yes, 65% No

Would hate to see Issue 2 pass.

^Same. Hoping the trend will change on Issue 2.

Yeah, there seemed to be a block of pro-legalization folks who voted against this issue. Increased voter participation (and hopefully no "Bud-E" mascot) may at least narrow the margin next year.

Looks like Ohio voters learned their lesson from the casino monopoly.

Possibly....but I think it had more to do with Bud-E and the "marijuana candy in your kid's Halloween basket" scare-tactic.

Good. State-level leadership's Republican dominance is not even remotely representative.

I don't know. The fact that it didn't even pass in a single county, even the most liberal ones, suggests that fear of pot wasn't really the problem. I just think Issue 3 was a crappy attempt.

They need to come back next year with something much better and I think it would have a very good chance at passing.
