Your right. It was sniffin' around the wire and the spool trucks were about a mile away when they started pulling the wire tight. It caught it's antler and took him up with it. They noticed a snag or something, so they sent a lineman down to check it out.
The moose was safely lowered down and he got away just alittle shaken up

There's an interesting stoy to this.

Powerlines are much stronger than I thought if they can hold a full grown moose up without breaking. I always imagined that if I swung from them not only would I be electrocuted but it would also snap or fall down under the weight, but I guess not (except for being electrocuted).

You wouldn't be electicuted. The wires are instulated (coated). Even if they were bare you wouldn't be electricuted because your feet wouldn't be touching the gound. ( + - ) Positive and negitive. Picture electrcity flowing through the wire. With someone hanging from the wire, it would just keep flowing through....until your feet touched the ground. Then it would turn and go through you to the nearest negitive ground, which would be your feet connecting the ground.
To jump a car you need 2 cables. positive and negitive.

Schools out
