Hi all! We're a family of 5 and having lived in Vermont and Rhode Island, are now moving to Ohio. I'd like to be near mountains or farmland. Most important is a safe and educationally sound town. Recommendations?? Thank you so much!

Well i can tell you that Sabina is full of farmland, lol, its a town in Clinton County about and hour from both Cincinnati and Columbus, about 7 miles south of Interstate 71. It has around 2,900 residents. Its a nice town to grow up in. Good schools and close to everything.

Thumbs up Hillsboro OH

Check out Hillsboro in Highland County. You otta like the city because it sits on 7 hills, but if you go 2 miles out of the city towards Cincinnati, its flat with lots of farmland. And safety wise, the city is in the process of building a new fire and police station. The school districts are in the process of building new schools for all ages (no more buildings without AC). The city is family friendly because of the brand new bowling alley, the two parks inside the city limits, and Rocky Fork Lake which is about 3 miles outside of the city. Transportation in and out is easy by either US RT 50, 62, 138, or 73. Hillsboro is not far (roughly an hour away) from three major cities (Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton). Anyways good luck and happy hunting. Let me know if I can help any more!
