We are finally starting to get settled in here. We are military, but since we are going to be living in Edmond we are authorized a civilian pediatrician. Does anyone have a recommendation? TIA!

When my first was born, we saw Kelly Stephens at Mercy Edmond Memorial. I really liked him- he's very laid-back and easy to chat with. He has a more "old-fashioned" approach and instead of doling out antibiotics for every little thing, he's more of a wait and see type. I really appreciated that.

Are you AF? If so and you are Tricare Prime, you might have to be seen on base. Otherwise you'll be paying for part of the visit. The only time they have let me take my son elsewhere is when it was an urgent care visit. I also live in Edmond, just FYI. Anyways, just double check so you dont end up with an unwanted bill.

Well darn, neither of those peds are on the list! Too bad because Dr. Edgemon is right around the corner from my house. Jenn, when my hubby inprocessed the med group he was told that we are allowed to be seen on the economy w/Prime. Maybe it's a new thing.
