^^ Yeah, following oklahomarock.com blog is a great way to keep updated. Check out Norman Music Festival 4, which has been expanded to 3 days this year and will take place in April. Lots and lots of local bands with some national headliners. They haven't announced the lineup yet.

In person, you can visit Guestroom Records on Western in OKC or downtown Norman, or the Red Dirt Emporium in Bricktown and they will give you good information on local music with a big selection of CDs.

My top picks: Flaming Lips, Stardeath and White Dwarfs, The Uglysuit, the Non, Starlight Mints, Samantha Crain
