OKC is such a large spread out city that it really depends on what part you're in. Just about any of the suburbs, Edmond, Piedmont, Yukon, Norman, are all pretty safe cities. There are definitely some pretty sketchy parts of the city though but they're pretty easy to avoid. I've lived my whole life in Yukon/Mustang area and never had any issues. Biggest thing I've heard from friends is cars getting broken into.
