I am very confused, I have been looking at rental homes online and the majority of them do not come with refrigerators. I find this very odd because as a I renter I do not haul a refrigerator with me. Is this a common thing for Oklahoma? I really dont want to live in an apartment, but if I cant find a decent house with a refrigerator, I guess I will have to go apartment hunting.*SIGH*

I have lived in a couple rental houses in Edmond and they have always been equipped with a "fridge".

I know quite a few people who have or have had rental houses in the Edmond and OKC area, and all of them have come with a fridge. I guess you're just picking out all the ones that don't.

I spoke to 3 realtors and they all said that it is not required that rental homes have refrigerators in them, they must only have a stove. So I must not be just picking the wrong ones.

Not required. That doesn't mean rental homes don't have them. Like I said, know a lot of people who currently or have had rental homes in the past and not one of them had to have their own refrigerator. Maybe it's just the part of town you're looking at, who knows.

I clearly understand that there are homes that do have them. I am not looking in one specific area, I am looking at all areas, Norman, Mustang, Yukon, Mid West, Edmond, etc. And I have noticed that A LOT of homes and the majority of the ones that I like do not have refrigerators. I was simply stating that I have never seen rental homes with out basic appliances (stoves and refrigerators). And was wondering if this was a common practice in Oklahoma.
