While I definitely believe OKC deserves the recognition, the 6th out of 21 places to visit in the world?? Still, I'm very impressed and so proud of all who has made Oklahoma City the great place it is today.. and we will continue to get better still. How about your thoughts?

The link would never load for me. It acted like it was in a constant state of rebuffering. Maybe another day?

On the left, at the top of the window trying to upload photos, click on Trips of 2015 and the OKC trip is there.

That is one weird list of places to visit. Medellin, Colombia? Myanmar? Hyderabad? I have never been to some of those places but for good reason.

I get that OKC is improving. I frequent DFW and OKC metro area on a regular basis. Driving around OKC everything looks beat down and in bad shape outside a few key areas. The roads/infrastructure and retail offerings are so far below what DFW offers that there isn't much point in going to OKC over DFW.

Glad to OKC get some recognition but to say its a great place to vacation casts the rest of those suggestions into serious doubt.

OKC is so far down the list if I was recommending a trip in 2015. Let's not kid ourselves. If you are doing a road trip, OKC is worth a visit if you are going through but that's about it.

Those of us who have traveled far and wide in this world may have a different perspective from the 2/3rds who have never left the USA. There are some who have never left the state where they were born. There are some who only see the run down part of a town or community and there are others who don't notice that part. There are some who only notice the negative of anything. It has never occurred to me to compare OKC to anywhere else. I've been to many other places and haven't compared them to any other place I've been. I didn't compare London to Paris or Rome to Madrid or Tangier to Berlin or NYC to Los Angeles. They are all their own place, just as OKC is.
