I have a friend moving to Oklahoma City for a job. She is a 26 y/o very down to earth woman who is looking for a safe area which is close to the city. She enjoys nite life as well as a little bit of culture. She currently lives in Baltimore, MD, but is originally from Texas. She has found a place in Jefferson Park, but is unsure of the area. Does anyone have any suggestions on where she should move? Thanks

The Bricktown is rising. They have apartments in that area, downside is the it's a pretty expensive area, upside is it's close to the some of the best restaurants, ballpark, and nightclubs.

She could also try living in downtown or bricktown. More and more people are living near the CBD. It all depends on house or condo. Midtown is also rising and happens to be the area where Wayne Coyne lives. The lead signer of the Flaming Lips http://www.flaminglips.com/main.php (broken link). Midtown is great with the new
http://mcnelliesokc.com/ and Irmas burger shack, Cafe do brazil, Kaisers Ice cream ect. A fun area to hang out. Good luck.
