Considering moving back to Oklahoma to be closer to family. Originally from Tulsa. Both husband and I are civil service in Huntsville, AL and are doing pretty well, but need the family support now that we have kids.

Tinker definitely has the main Federal jobs in the state. I'm not sure what exactly you all do, but the VA is in OKC, and it is the best VA hospital in this region of the US. There is a large FAA location out by the airport in OKC and the Department of Energy has a regional HQ in Tulsa. The USDA has jobs thoroughout the state as does Indian affairs. There is a munitions facility in McAlester and there are two other AFB locations in the state (Vance and Altus) and Ft. Sill is located in Lawton. My best suggestion is for you to get on USA jobs or on OPM.gov and do a search for the state and match it to your qualifications.
