I was born and raised in Checotah but have hardly heard of him. I will have to ask my mom is she knew him or went to school with him since they were the same age.

Okie,

You've never heard of "Louisiana Saturday Night" or "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans on?"

Oh yeah I have heard of him. I guess I should have said you don't hear people from Checotah going on about him being form there. You hear a lot about Carrie but she hit it really big time. Our farm backs up to her mom and dad's farm. We tell everyone our cows know her cows...LOL

He was born in Checotah but lived in Okmulgee when he was small and grew up there....so everyone says he is from Okmulgee. There is even a sign. I think he was born in Checotah because there was a hospital there. My mom was born in that hospital too.
