What can we do with developers, who have no roots in a community that come in, make their money, then leave town. Developers who have no conscience and leave a trail of collateral damage behind. Collateral damage both in terms of physical as well as mental anguish.
Particularly vulnerable are cities anxious to grow who will “roll over” for practically every wish. Cities who will relegate their responsibility to their citizens, to the developers. This is particularly applicable to suburbs surrounding major cities like Tulsa and OKC. These “burbs” are all competing with each other, working to grow faster then the next.

Hard to have an opinion about a generality regarding developers. Perhaps if you describe a specific situation...?
