Here are some drive by mostly pics I took when I had to go to Bristow the other day. Bristow is a route 66 town, and has an exit on the Turner turnpike.

We made it to Russ Bar B Que joint. The food is very good and they encourage graffiti in the restaurant.

I like this car lot made out of the old gas station.

Whatever this building is, I like it too.

Window sill graffiti.

Shopping opportunity for my husband.

Downtown businesses

Wow, are those night-vision goggles on your dash Peggy? Your husband must be a hunter, or both of you. I'd like to own a pair of those, just for fun.

I don't know, Synopsis, I thought they were binoculars. We don't hunt, but he likes gadgets.

If I get to Davis, Sunshyne, I will take some pics.

These guys were actually workin' on the railroad with those big sledge hammers.

Bristow has a really big bank for a little town.

I never know where I might end up from day to day. Taking the pics gives me entertainment while we go to pick up some trailer or implement.

Driving around and around Bristow. We were looking for the pecan buying place.

The old train station.

Grocery store

Interesting cloud over neighborhood.

Everything done and heading south. Cattle grazing under the cloudy sky.

A herd of Volkswagens.

This place makes dune buggys.

A nice looking pecan grove.

The big road, I-40.

North Canadian River. There is so much more sand now after the floods this year.

Now in Bearden, a really small town.

The school grounds.

A fixer-upper.

Another fixer-upper.
