Maybe if you ask really nicely,
Mama will fix your home machine for you.

Besides...
What kind of job allows you to play on forums?
I want one of those...

Wait a minute....
Did you say something about "Medic detail" somewhere?
Nevermind... I'm to squeamish for that.

Trust me... he is NO child and we have few secrets. I do seem to recall a certain someone who was complaining during his last visit because I didn't look "Gramma-ish" enough.

LOL.. i'm still in the navy, working an office job. nothing to do = internet browsing.

its the Vista, just working out a few kinks.. i'll jump on the laptop sometime and look up a workaround for it.

the 'medic detail' is what i do when i'm NOT in the office. the local hospital offers and runs a 5-truck Paramedic supplement to the EMS systems in pretty much the entire eastern CT and RI area(since all the ambulance services are BLS/EMT based, not ALS/Paramedic based). This last weekend (i had 5 days off work) i pulled a cumulative 96-hrs with them. i'll be back in tonight and tomorrow night for the 7pm-7am shift, and probably another 36 or so this weekend.

i do it because its fun, not for a single dime. (is that a good enough explanation of the 'medic detail'? )

Might be fun for you....
I'd probably be vomiting at every accident scene.
(Humans look better with their insides in.)

Good thing someone has the stomach for it
or we'd all be in trouble.

Here is a tip how to do that.

Wipe Vista off your laptop and re-install XP. It works wonders!! Ask me how I know

I'll be doing exactly that for a rich residential client after work today.
