I'm curious - Scott Pruitt has been in the news so much, with one unsavory revelation after another, and I somehow doubt that he suddenly become so unethical and self-aggrandizing on being elevated by Trump.

So I was wondering - Were there any serious questions or investigations about his conduct when Attorney General in Oklahoma?

All I remember is that he was constantly suing the EPA.

I thought I remembered, he was attacking the polluting Arkansas chicken farm interests pretty relentlessly, and then his campaign was given a bunch of money directly or indirectly from Tyson and / or some other big chicken concern over there, and then Pruitt ended his fight against the chicken farm industry immediately.

It seems to me that the kind of flagrant "Boss Hogg" type of Oklahoma politics that we can't seem to root out for some reason, does not always escape scrutiny on a national level, or in some other states. And so Pruitt lands himself in trouble in about 15 minutes after taking the EPA job.

I'd like to like him, and wish that I could.

Pruitt is one of the worst things that has happened to this country in quite awhile and needs to be fired immediately.

Default Secret science ended and cost/benefits is back

Without disclosure the EPA under Obama used secret science for new regs. No longer were cost of new laws and benefits documented.

These are major moves forward with a government that now tells us why and what is they hope to accomplish with new laws. The complaints are administrivia. I wonder how many past EPA heads did these things too.

Remember the whines about an office lease in Tulsa being an outrage for him? Then we learned it was common practice.

I do not agree with top officials using employees to do personal errands but it is more common in my experience than just Pruitt.

I have learned to expect little from the federal government, this avoids daily disappointment.

I have to say, I'm mystified that he still has his job, with the stream of unsavory revelations.

I'm surprised someone hasn't been curious to delve further back.

I bet he's been doing such a good job serving corporate interests, they just can't let him go.

Well, he just resigned - and is on his way back to Oklahoma, where he plans on running for office. My question is will the people of OK elect him? Probably. My mother will - she is famous for voting against her own interests - and then whining about the results. Go figure.

Your wish is granted. He stinks to high heaven.

He is the right "persuasion" and he believes god elected Trump. Need I say more?
