Why does the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Toby Keiths place mentioned so many times as the must see attractions in OKC??? Is it supposed to be funny or something?

Lets replace the Hall of Fame with the OKCMOA and Tobys with RedPrime Steakhouse, then see what you come up with. That will definitely shed light on what is currently happening in OKC.

Look over the places to go and things to do sticky in the OKC forum and add a NBA team for this coming Fall. Go OKC Metros (My new personal fav name for the team!)

There has to be a reason why in one way or another! I just cant help myself to educate people on those options.

OKC is a great city with many things other than the cowboy blah and its going to take another 5- 10 yrs for people to accept it in Oklahoma and the Nation.

could you explain what that is? from a family of people who ranched, wore stetson and bailey hats, Nocona and Tony Llama boots, rodeoed, and still prefer riding western to riding english, I seem to be missing something.

FWIW, as a matter of preference, I prefer a bunch of FFA boys to any city groups you can suggest......and that includes their boom box cars............

Goodpasture, its a typical stereotype about OKC. I love the western heritage, but its time for people to wake up and realize that there is more than just the Cowboy Hall of Fame. Thats all. Sorry if it offended you. By the way, The Cowboy Hall of Fame is actually a great museum with tons of priceless western art. It shouldnt get bashed like it does.
