OH, I'm sorry. I forgot. For some reason, I thought you might be retired already. And if you are, you did a lot more things right then I did cause that isn't in my near future.

Default ...heard it on the grapevine...

Hooterville news. Remember when we posted about Holdenville's beloved Sharpe's burning down in March??

Well, they are back! And the word around the water cooler is they are back through the generosity of Peggy and Steve Davis. Ring a bell?

That's right, possums. The same former humble moderator on the Okie threads. Peggy has shown her kind heart again. Sharpe's is back in that store Karibear pointed out to me on Main Street. Reps and Kudo's to Peggy Davis and her DH.

(Peggy, I know your ears are burning, hopefully you are lurking! Uncle Don loved Sharpe's and I used to get many a birthday gift from that place.)

I don't see retirement in my near future either.

Yes, in case the newbies don't know, Peggy allowed Karibear to camp out on her property while she was trying to find a house to live in. Karibear is a brave soul. She was a wild pioneer woman for, what kari, 4 or 5 months? Out in the wilderness, far from town, living off locusts and squirrel meat.

Now, if I can find one of Peggy's last posts, I am going to rep her.

Default Outlet Shops north of Oklahoma City

Does anyone know the status of the new Outlet Shops that were to be built on I-40, north of OKC. Just thinking maybe the project had been put on hold due to the economy.

Two months, including one night that it rained 8", lots of t-storms to the right and left, tornado warnings right and left. Lotsa fun! No locusts, but lots of June bugs, ticks, tarantulas, and some I've never seen before or since. It was a really really nice place to unwind, but I think they would have objected if I'd just stayed there and hooked up my computer!
