You'll have to be more specific about what you're looking for. Pros and cons can be pretty subjective. In my opinion, Omaha is not much of a young person city. It's more family oriented. For me, that's a con. For a lot of people, that may be a pro. I definitely wouldn't call Omaha a city for singles, but again, it's not like people are hostile towards singles, either. You'll have to fill us in a little more about yourself to get any more specific answers.

I would say you'd easily get by living in Midtown or Downtown. It's the suburbs that are boring, family related. You'll find exaqctly what you want in the older parts of the city.

I'm 33 and male. There's a lot going on in the 'O'. I advise you to look at Downtown, Midtown or north downtown areas. You cannot possible go wrong according to many arts, music, entertainment and cultural articles and publications.

Being a 31 year old single male I can say the downtown and old market area would be the place to look. It's a great place to hang out and meet interesting people as well as some, well, odd people . But that makes the area more interesting I guess. Check out the art scene while in the old market, lots to see in that regard! If you need someone to help point you in the right direction contact Bill Seidler Jr. at the Bancroft street market. He knows may in the art community in both Omaha and council bluffs.

Though honestly it would have helped if you gave us even a tidbit of information on your interest and hobbies . Otherwise we are left to just toss stuff at ya!

Then why lie? Why come here and say your thinking of moving here then go to another forum and claim you live here already? Something does not add up .
