My husband will be commuting to Industry for the next few months from Denver. Based on schedule of flights the two options are LAX or Orange County (no option into Ontario that works). Based on rush hour direction, even tho' LAX is longer in distance to Industry am I right that it will be going against traffic for morning/eve commute and would be the better option???

LAX takes you through much more heavily congested areas. In OC, the traffic flows south on the 57 and 55 in the mornings.

Even if the traffic is slightly worse from SNA (which I doubt that it is), use SNA. It is much more comfortable. LAX is the biggest hassle crowded dirty loud airport in history. I hate LAX. If he is renting a car at LAX there's a huge hassle getting out to the offsite rental cars (there aren't any onsite car rentals at LAX).

SNA hands down. The 57N is not bad in the early morning, but traffic may slow down a bit on the connecting, but short, 60W trip going towards the City of Industry. Still, the ease and comfort of dealing with SNA over LAX is well worth it.

I avoid LAX whenever possible.

To borrow, corrupt and completely mangle a saying, LAX is not healthy for humans and other living things.

Well said, PAC!!!

Between the two choices you mentioned, SNA all the way!

But, have you looked into the possibility of using Long Beach Airport? That would put you right at the 605 and ready to head north - without all of the falderal attached with having to deal with the 405, 22, 5, 710, 605 bullpucky...

I don't think I've heard that term more than once or twice since 1975.

I'm surprised that you didn't also mention the term "falderal" !
