Back in the early 1990's, 25 years ago, my dad and his girlfriend used to have an one bedroom apartment in Laguna Beach right off Glenneyre St just blocks from the ocean. He was paying $700 a month for it at the time with all utilities paid. Is that still possible? Could you find a $700 a month apartment in Laguna or even South OC?

There's no way you could find an apartment in Laguna or anywhere in So.OC for $700/mo with all utilities paid in 2017. That is definitely California Dreamin'!

Hahahaha. We paid $735 for our little one-bedroom apartment in Lake Forest, 21 years ago. Now it's over $1700, and it definitely doesn't have an ocean view.

Check out Alice Court Apartments on Glenneyre. They are around 400$ to 600$ but they are low income section8.

$700 might get you a room, somewhere undesirable, but that's about it.

is this a joke? In Laguna Beach you may get a spot in a campground to pitch your tent for $700/month, IF you are lucky that is.
