Hi guys,
I'm moving to Orange County end of this year, what I like to know is how much should I pay for rent a 2 bedrooms condo? and how much if I buy it?
I works near Beverly Hills, what is the fastest transportation to go there?
Thankyou in advance for you help.

Chris.

Depending on the area, $1400-2100.
for rentals: www.craigslist.org.

Condos go for $250k-500k(2 BR).

The best way to commute is still by car unfortunately. If you are working a normal 9-5 schedule, I may reconsider this move. Traffic will be horrible. What about a safe and clean area closer to work? (Hint: -Look specifically in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades.) Good luck!

Default Are you sure you are moving to OC?

Beverly Hills is a bit far from Orange County. You could take the train...probably metrolink. If you are planning to live in Orange County and commute than you could have a big choice of rents. Live in Newport Beach or another awsome beach town and pay thousands for a condo to rent. If yo live inland more like Santa Ana or Orange you could probably pay under $1000.

I really doubt you are going to find a condo for $1000 anywhere in California. That is on the low end for a one bedroom apartment in most areas.

Hi Guys,
thank's for your answer, however rental cost at Santa Monica or places close to the beach is higher, I think? I don't mind live inland, as long it's safe, clean and cost less ...and closer to Beverly Hills will be better (forget Orange County.. )

For now, which is better to rent or to buy a condo?

Chris.

Wow, how long would the commute from OC be to Beverly Hills? 1.5 hours each way? Hi rent or not, I'd rather live closer to work.
