I can't help but notice that today is a great day to clean the garage, pull some weeds, wash the German machine (and make it sparkle) or take a hike -- all labor intensive things that are great in cool weather. So erm, I would like to swim this summer. That begs the question: When will summer start this year? Laguna Niguel will see a high of 69 today.

Stop, please stop--don't wish the hot weather upon us already! I love the June Gloom, and I don't think we got any last year. It's always hot by mid-July, no matter what. And then in September we're all wishing it would cool down, and IT DOESN'T. Ugh!

It is if you live within a a few miles of the coast. You don't need AC or heat really (i have ceiling fans and only ran my heater once this past winter). I personally think it gets too hot if you go too far inland

We don't use a/c (and we're 15 miles inland), but we do use fans, and, frankly, it does get a little too hot at times during the summer.

But the weather is perfect...comparatively speaking.

It's been June Gloom for like 2-3 weeks now. It was raining/drizzling the past few nights.

Maybe we're going to be having another 2010 again?

Not if you live a 2 story house. Up stairs gets HOT as a mofo. I mean hella hot. You can't breath and you have a migraine hitting you hot.
