Your feedback on this forum, to date, has been wonderful! I'm coming up next week to meet with a realtor and explore South Orange County. What are your collective thoughts on Dana Point with respect to its schools and traffic comparing it to living in Laguna Niguel or Mission Viejo? Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Laguna Niguel does not share schools with Mission Viejo, but does with Dana Point, it's immediate neighbor.

The traffic is about the same within both cities, and they are both right off the 5 freeway. Dana Point, being farther south, is more advantageous if you will be going south often, and Mission Viejo is a little better if you will be going north.

I don't know anything about the schools.

You didn't mention weather or beach access, but Dana Point will generally be a bit cooler than Mission Viejo, and of course it is much closer to the beach.
